Charter bus
For group tours of 8 or more people, we recommend a spacious minibus.
We can arrange a minibus with a driver and a Japanese speaking guide for groups of 8 to 14 people.
Minibuses such as the Toyota Coaster can usually accommodate up to 24 passengers, but unlike large buses, all luggage must be carried into the passenger area, so we recommend a maximum capacity of 14 passengers.
About bus tour
Traveling by bus differs from using regular vehicles such as sedans or vans, as there are various restrictions on which streets can be entered and where parking is available. When planning a bus tour in Sri Lanka, taking these factors into account can help avoid issues such as unexpectedly long travel times that might cause delays in the sightseeing schedule.
Travel time
On highways, it travels almost the same as a regular vehicle, but on regular roads, a route that would take a sedan three hours will likely take about 4.5 hours.
Break Time
The more people in your group, the longer it will take to use the restrooms at rest areas. You will also need to know which rest areas can accommodate your group.
Be careful with parking
You need to check whether the hotel you are planning to book has a parking lot that can accommodate large buses and minibuses. If not, you will have to park it somewhere else, which will incur travel costs.
Our experienced staff will help you with your plan.
Our experienced staff will provide advice on time allocation for tours with large numbers of people, as well as road conditions in Sri Lanka.
Medium and large buses also available
